A Frequency Sweep Across 68 Years of Studio Lokananta History
Measuring Lokananta against its 1956 calibration was archaeology as much as engineering. We have the plots — and a lesson about measuring time, not just space.

Lokananta still holds its 1956 calibration notes. Measuring the studio today against them is part archaeology, part engineering: every resurfacing and every replaced panel shows up in the frequency response.
We were not measuring a room. We were measuring sixty-eight years of changes to it.
The plots tell a story of slow drift rather than damage. The low end has tightened as the structure settled; the high end softened where the original treatment was patched with whatever was available across decades.
Our recommendation was deliberately minimal — stabilise, document, and resist the urge to "modernise" a room whose character is the sum of its history.
